Rotary Club of San Pedro South held it's first Club Assembly for the coming Rotary Year, 2016-2017. PP Resty Ramos served as Moderator.
1st to report was PP Rey Bongao, Club Trainer as he gave us a backgrounder about Club Assembly. Being a TRF Chair, PP Rey also tackled TRF and the parameters required by Rotary International in attaining the Presidential Citation and District Challenge.
The RI Thrusts was taken up by PP Fe Aquinde as follows;
Priority 1 : Support and strengthen Clubs;
Priority 2 : Focus & increase humanitarian service
Priority 3 : Enhance Public Image and Service
PP Yolly discussed about her duty as Finance committee Chair and the importance of "cleaning up the house" in preparation for the coming Rotary Year.
PP Fe presented the Club & District schedule for the month of June 2016 and the announcement to hold 2 club meetings in a month, 1 special meeting and 1 Board meeting, w/c was duly approved.
2nd Part of the Club Assembly was held last June 3, 2016 wherein Chair Committees from Finance (PP Yolly Montifar), Public Relations (PP Danny Berciles), and International Service (PP Cely Moreno) presented their plans for RY 2016-2017
